Black Bass is a type of Fish in NieR Replicant that can be acquired by fishing. Fish are required to complete the Fisherman's Quests at Seafront and improve NieR's fishing skill level.
NieR's first fishing rod and Lure can be retrieved from the Fisherman standing by the Seafront Pier.
A freshwater fish found almost everywhere.

The best fishing spot for Black Bass is by the waterwheel behind the shopping district of the Village.

Black Bass Information
Black Bass is a necessary catch in one of the Fisherman's Quests, a series of Side Quests in the game.
- Black Bass is a freshwater fish that can be caught with Lure at most freshwater spots. The best place to catch it is at the Village fishing spots
- Lure can be bought from the Tackle Shopkeeper at Seafront for 100 gold
- Catching Black Bass would add it to the Fishmonger's inventory in Seafront.
Black Bass Quest
Speak to the old Fisherman in Seafront, and he will ask NieR to catch him five Black Bass. Completing the quest will improve NieR's fishing skill level.

One of every fish must be caught to complete all achievements.
- A Round by the Pond - Catch one of every type of fish
When "Fish" is displayed on the screen, press (B)-Xbox (Square)-Playstation, to choose your bait and begin fishing. When your rod bends, press (A) to reel in the fish, then press (L) in the direction opposite the way the fish is going to reduce its HP. When the fish's HP reaches zero, you will automatically land it.

DON'T use worms for this fish, you will get a ton of bass. Just use the regular lure. I am 5 for 5 with the regular lure and 0 for 9 with worms.
