The Shaman Fish is a type of Fish in NieR Replicant that can be acquired by fishing. Fish are required to complete the Fisherman's Quests at Seafront and improve NieR's fishing skill level.
NieR's first fishing rod and Lure can be retrieved from the Fisherman standing by the Seafront Pier.
A saltwater fish often used for medicinal purposes.
Shaman Fish Location
Seafront, at the second hidden beach, close to the lighthouse. If looking for Shaman Fish for Yonah during the main story quest, follow the red X on the minimap for the fishing location.

Shaman Fish Information
The Shaman fish is a necessary catch for the main storyline when Yonah falls very ill. NieR will go to Popola for advice and she will suggest he catches her a Shaman Fish, because of its medicinal properties.
- Shaman Fish is a saltwater fish that can be caught with Lure at the secret beach of Seafront after speaking with the Fisherman at Seafront. The beach is not the same one located next to the Fisherman's Pier, but further down towards the lighthouse. When doing the main quest, follow the red "X" on the map.
- Lure can be bought from the Tackle Shopkeeper at Seafront for 100 gold, but Nier's first Lure will be given to him by the Fisherman.
- Catching Shaman Fish would add it to the Tackle Shopkeeper and Fishmonger's inventory in Seafront.

A Round by the Pond - Catch one of every type of fish
When "Fish" is displayed on the screen, press (B)-Xbox (Square)-Playstation, to choose your bait and begin fishing. When your rod bends, press (A) to reel in the fish, then press (L) in the direction opposite the way the fish is going to reduce its HP. When the fish's HP reaches zero, you will automatically land it.
