The Littlest Hero is one of the Side Quests in NieR Replicant. Side quests are optional tasks or quests usually requested by NPCs that players can choose to complete in order to obtain rewards. Some quests rewards are required for certain endings.

 

 The child of Facade's blacksmith has left home and is headed for the desert. His parents want you to bring him back.

Ignoring your please, the child set off toward a den of wolves. Don't let him fight alone!

You brought the son home safe and sound.

 

All Facade Quests can only be started after NieR's first trip to Facade in the main storyline. The quests will appear after returning from the Barren Temple with the King of Facade.

The Littlest Hero Objectives

Locate the Facade Blacksmith's son and bring him back safely

  

The Littlest Hero Walkthrough

He will start yelling and will mention  his son has gone to the desert by himself so he can become a true Man of the Mask (or a solider) He will ask NieR to bring him back before he hurts himself

  • Look for the Masked Person in the desert and convince him to come back.
  • You can find him around the middle area of the desert immediately leading to Facade town

When he is found, he will start running away. 

  • Chase after him and protect him from the surrounding wolves. Bring him back to the Blacksmith
  • He will go to the structure on the left side of the sandstorm map, you must open a door and fight the wolves within
  • You will be teleported back to town after defeating them

A dialogue will follow between the Blacksmith and his son, and then the quest will be complete.

      Since the stupid *******'s first thing to do is to run off into the sandstorm - make sure you took the royal compass from the guard next to the entrance of the king's mansion. That'll let you go into the storm, as well.
