Item Unknown is one of the Side Quests in NieR Replicant. Side quests are optional tasks or quests usually requested by NPCs that players can choose to complete in order to obtain rewards. Some quests rewards are required for certain endings.
A woman in front of the king of Facade's palace needs you to run an errand. The rules state that she can't expressly state the name of the items she wants, so you must search for ten "round, striped food objects"
You located and delivered the items to the client.
All Facade Quests can only be started after NieR's first trip to Facade in the main storyline. The quests will appear after returning from the Barren Temple with the King of Facade.

- Speak to the Masked Person near the King's Manor
She will say Rule 8,614 states parents cannot purchase food for their children's birthday feasts, so she needs someone else to do it. She asks for ten round, striped food objects. (Rule 27,229 states that when sending someone on an errand, they cannot state the name of the item you want them to buy.)
- Purchase ten watermelons from the grocer in Facade just nearby the Masked Person (8000 gold required)
- Alternatively, Cultivate the Watermelons in your Village field
- bring them back to the Masked Person
Speaking to her will end the quest
what a scam lol.
I mean if the rule is only about not being able to buy if from the store, you would surely need to pay more then what it costs in the store.
Good thing you can actually grow these things fast.. oh wait.. this game is for retired ppl who really have time for everything.
