Dark Hand is a Sealed Verse in Nier Replicant and NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139.... Sealed Verses such as Dark Hand are special abilities used by Grimoire Weiss that assist Nier in battle. They can be unlocked by progressing the story and completing content.
Dark Hand Effect
Punnel foes with a powerful magical arm. Charge to increase attack power.
The Dark Hand is, as its name indicates, a Dark Hand that reaches out of the book and smashes enemies with a pounding motion and large range. It is a ranged AoE attack in the form of a pounding fist that removes a Shade's armor. This attack can also be charged. There is a delay in time when charging to give you a chance to load before dealing the more powerful punch and a larger area of damage. The Dark Hand also has the ability to crush armour off of Shades, which will be very useful in combat.
Dark Hand Location
This is the third verse you will obtain. You can unlock Dark Hand after the first boss encounter with Hook, the reptilian looking creature, who you will find when you initially meet Kainé at the not-so-deserted tent on the way back from the Aerie to the Village. You will receive the power after your battle with Kainé, when she wards Hook away,
Dark Hand Notes & Tips
- Charging your Dark Hand move increases the affected area and deals more damage
- Using this spell to weaken enemy armor is a great way to combat [[xx]] and [[yy]] enemies
