Dark Blast is a Sealed Verse in Nier Replicant and NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139.... Sealed Verses such as Dark Blast are special abilities used by Grimoire Weiss that assist NieR in battle. They can be unlocked by progressing the story and completing content.
Dark Blast Effect
Fire tiny bursts of magic energy
A long-range attack in the form of red magical bursts of energy. Dark Blast shoots outs rays of pulsing red magic bolts that suck the blood out of opponents. It can be used in a continuous stream or dealt individually. The first bolt will always be the strongest so the bigger individual strikes are more effective in battle.
Dark Blast Location
You will find the Dark Blast in the Lost Shrine. Dark Blast will be the first Sealed verse you will obtain. It is obtained at the end of your journey through the Lost Shrine when the Protagonist is first introduced to Grimoire Weiss. After accepting his assistance and fending for yourself against the shades in the last chamber, a bright white light will begin to appear and it will notify you that you have obtained a Sealed Verse.
Dark Blast Tips
- They deal more damage when pulsing the button rather than holding it down since the initial shot is most powerful. This will however take up a lot more MP.
- Holding the button down will use up less MP, but deal less damage.
