Book Smarts is one of the Side Quests in NieR Replicant. Side quests are optional tasks or quests usually requested by NPCs that players can choose to complete in order to obtain rewards. Some quests rewards are required for certain endings.
A woman in the village library needs help organizing some books. Take the book and put it in the second bookshelf from the left on the east side of the second floor.
Go get the next book to be shelved
Take the book she gave you and put it in the third bookshelf from the right on the sourthern side of the first floor
The shelving job is complete. Report back to the woman
You shelved all the books

Book Smarts Walkthrough
A villager in the library needs some help organizing some of the bookshelves for Popola. She will give you some books and let you know where to place them. The correct shelf will be indicated with an orange marker.
- The red book belongs on the second shelf from the left side of the second floor. (near the stars to access the second floor)
When the first book is placed, speak to the villager again and she will give you a second book
- The blue book belongs on the third shelf from the right on the south side of the first floor. (Near the two children chatting)
Speak to the villager again to complete the quests.
